Venues for Hire

The City of Sydney’s Venue Management Unit is a collection of the City’s landmark venues. This includes Sydney Town Hall, Paddington Town Hall and the Barnet Long Room in Customs House. The venues cater to a wide range of users including corporate groups, arts and cultural organisations, weddings, film shoots, community groups, charities, and schools.

Sydney Town Hall
Spectacular Sydney Town Hall is the city’s grandest function venue and incorporates several unique spaces available for a range of events including gala dinners, trade shows and conferences.

Sydney Town Hall is undergoing major building renovations. The venue will reopen in late 2009 with improved facilities and services, and a new event space in the Lower Town Hall.

Customs House
Centrally positioned at Circular Quay, Customs House offers the exclusive Barnet Long Room and balcony for events including conferences, corporate celebrations and weddings. Situated on level one, the venue’s heritage architecture is suitably complemented by modern AV technology and excellent staging facilities.

Paddington Town Hall
Less than 5 kilometres from Sydney CBD, Paddington Town Hall is a spacious heritage venue suitable for a variety of events including gala dinners, exhibitions, and live music performances.

City Recital Hall
The City Recital Hall Angel Place is a purpose built concert venue perfect for meetings, conferences and special events. The City Recital Hall is an affiliated Council venue managed under contract by Pegasus Venue Management.
